enlargements, experiments and whoopsies
while doing my enlargements I came across some difficulties and reading mistakes of my own, I have also just realized while making this post instead of doing 2 exposure enlargements for the assignment I did 2 exposure difference images
this was my 18 grey card enlargement, when the assignment said to make a still like of differ shades of colours I immediately ran to my craft desk and found all my strings, pens, felts and fabrics for it. this was done at shutter of (1/30) and aperture of (f8)
for my second exposure I wanted to do a slightly brighter one going which was a shutter of (1/15) and an aperture of (f 5.6)
(and then I realized I didn't need a second one)
while doing my test strips I thought I was doing it right for the first 4 and thought I was wrong so I turned on the white light filter for the last one, thankfully David was their and told me I was already doing it right thanks David ^_^
my first enlargement of my brother was about 16 secs and I'm pretty happy fro it being my first one but it is definitely 10 to much
while testing what was enough time I accidently forgot who to get the right time in the right intervals so I think I did the entire sheet in like 10 seconds then I realized I don't know what I was doing so I think the top is 16 or 18 secs, the middle is 10 or less and I don't know what the bottom is after remembering how to time scale correctly I did a large one then realized I can make test strips and am wasting money like an idiot
finally after 2 tests strips and 20 mins on the clock til I needed to run out I rushed out a 6 second print and was horribly confused as to why my picture was so light and cropped wrong.... and then I realized I did the enlargement on the wrong side I hope I don't make that mistake again. then after this I finally got a correct enlargement
